18th Mission: Fournoi Korseon, Thymaina, Patmos, Nisyros, Chalki, Folegandros

The 18th mission of Axion Hellas to Fournoi Korseon, Thymaina, Patmos, Halki, and Folegandros took place from May 8th to 18th and was successfully completed.
Over the course of 10 days, 174 volunteers aboard 14 vessels visited six islands, offering medical care, educational and cultural programs, as well as critical infrastructure projects that enhance the daily lives of local communities.

A total of 1,308 residents received medical attention, with 4,749 medical examinations carried out across 19 different specialties.
Additionally, 100 stray animals were vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped in collaboration with SPAZ.

Three infrastructure projects were delivered:

The construction of a playground at the nursery and primary school of Fournoi Korseon,
The renovation of the basketball, football, and volleyball courts at the primary school of Patmos,
The handover of the new open-air gym at the Junior High – High School of Astypalaia.

The mission also implemented 15 educational programs and 4 cultural activities, with a total of 1,628 participants (733 adults and 472 children).
