Aliki Drakouli holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, in Greece. She also holds an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan. She has served as the Director of Development and Finance at an Advertising Agency since 2007. She has broad Experience in International Economics, Marketing and Operations. The last five years she is involved in Axion Hellas. Together with the Educational and Cultural team support vulnerable groups living in remote and inaccessible areas of Greek islands and the mainland.

Sergios Arniakos is an executive at Latsco Shipping Limited. He has worked in various management positions in the shipping industry. Sergios started his career in the financial sector, in London and Athens, holding the position of Head of Derivatives Trading. He has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, an MSc in Marine Engineering from University College London and an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School. He is a founding member of Axion Hellas,was a member of the first board of directors, an alternate member of the second board of directors and he is actively participating in missions in the Aegean and the Ionian Sea.

Lamprini Kordatou has a Nursing degree and upon her graduation, she has been working in the health sector. Since 2016, she has been the Head of the Breast Center of the Euroclinic Group and for the last two years she has been the Head of the High Specialty Centers Point 2 of the Euroclinic Group.Since the foundation of Axion Hellas, she has been an active participant and volunteer. She is also an active member of the Hellenic Cancer Society.

Efstratios Apergis is a graduate of the Polytechnic University of Patras, School of Computer Engineering and Informatics. With over 30 years of work experience, he is a co-founder and CEO of Newsphone Hellas, a company that provides several well-known services such as 11880 telephone directory service, the online professional directory www.vrisko.gr, and numerous other projects, including the development, operation and the interconnection service of Citizen Service Centers (KEP) on behalf of the Ministry of the Interior, from 2002 to 2009, as well as many other projects.

Since 2014, he has been a co-founder of Levante Ferries, a maritime company (www.levanteferries.gr) that operates in the southern Ionian Islands, connecting the islands of Zakynthos, Kefalonia, and Ithaca with the ports of Kyllini and Patras. The company has been awarded as the "Best Passenger Company in Greece for the years 2019 & 2022."

He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), and since 2021 he has been elected Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Passenger Shipping Companies (SEEN). He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping (ΝΕΕ), representing the Coastal Ferry sector.

Aristeidis T. Gotsis holds a BSc in Computer Science & Business Administration from The American College of Greece, and a Diploma in New Media Communications (2005) from Boston University in the United States of America.

Prince Nikolaos is a graduate in International Relations from Brown University, USA. During his studies, he served for one year in the British Army as a Lieutenant in the Cavalry Regiment, Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. He has extensive experience in both banking and communications, as well as in business consulting. In recent years he has devoted himself to photography, holding photography exhibitions in London, Doha and Melbourne. Prince Nicholas is a member of the Board of Knightsbridge Schools International, which was established in 2008 to develop and operate a network of international schools around the world. He has been an active member of Axion Hellas since its inception.

Effie Stratakis has a degree in Psychology from Amherst College in Massachusetts and an MBA from the London Business School. Since graduation, she has been working in the family business where she is the Corporate Social Responsibility Manager of the company. She also continues to work as an investment advisor in the family office, with a focus on Angel Investing.

At the same time, Effie is on the board of directors and an active member of the Desmos Foundation (www.desmos.org). Since 2012 she represents her family in the Charity Department of the Union of Greek Shipowners and since 2018 she is a member of the Board of Directors of "Syn-enosis", - Society for Social Contribution of Greek Shipowners (www.syn-enosis.gr). Finally, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy - ELIAMEP.

George Souravlas, 60, is qualified in both Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering (BSc) from the University of Sunderland (UK). His academic background includes studies at the PhD level in Mechanical Engineering (Heat Transfer) and lecturing at the Universities of Sunderland and Newcastle for 4 years.

He is a member of the Greek Committees of the Japanese Classification Society (Class NK) and of the Korean Register (KR). He is also a member of the Greek Technical Committees of Class NK, Det Norske Veritas & Germanischer Lloyd (DNV GL), and the Italian Classification Society (RINA). 

Furthermore, he was elected twice, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping (HCS), and twice as Vice President of the Hellenic Shortsea Shipowners Association (HSSA). He is also an appointed member of BIMCO’s Advisory Panel. 

Mr Souravlas, with over 25 years of experience in senior ship management, co-founded ‘Elmira Shipping and Trading S A’ in 1997 and held the position of Technical Director until 2009. During his tenure at Elmira, the company had ordered and taken delivery of several new building Bulk Carriers in Japan and had managed on a worldwide basis, a fleet comprising Dry Bulk Carriers (18), Reefer vessels (4), RO ROs (6), Crude Oil Chemical and Product tankers (11) and Multi-Purpose heavy lifters (5). Additionally, he had been responsible for the successful execution of 5 scientific expeditions with the Indian Government to the Antarctic, on a specialized ice-classed vessel. During that period, the company realized an IRR of 55% (levered) in operating returns and capital gains over two shipping cycles. 

George Souravlas had also been invited to speak on several occasions at International Conferences on various operational aspects of Ship Management. He also chaired ACI’s 4th Optimising Ship Maintenance Conference which was held in Rotterdam in January 2011.

Mr Souravlas is a member of the prestigious ‘’Who is Who’’ Society in Greece, as well as of the International ‘’Who’s Who’’ Society of Professionals. Furthermore, in 2016 he was accepted as a member of the exclusive ‘’Athens Club’’ and in the same year, he became a founding member of the NPO, Axion Hellas – Supporting Society. 

In September 2009, he founded ‘Load Line Marine S A’, a company that manages a fleet of 13 Handy sizes, Supramax & Ultramax high-quality Bulk Carriers that trade worldwide. The company has contracted 3 Bulkers in well-known Korean and Chinese Shipyards. Load Line Marine S A, is a value-driven company that seeks to achieve high performance in order to ensure consistently top standards in a financially, socially, and environmentally sustainable manner, while being a value-driven company with environmental responsibility as a core part of its business strategy. Load Line Marine was the Winner of the prestigious Safety Award at the 2022 Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards.
