Donation by Axion Hellas to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the "SOTIRIA" Hospital, in memory of Evangelos Spanos

The Board of Directors of Axion Hellas expresses its deepest sorrow for the sudden loss of Evangelos Spanos, the founder and head of the BIOIATRIKI Group.

Evangelos Spanos was a pioneering entrepreneur with a leadership presence in our country's healthcare sector. Recognizing the importance of volunteerism, he was one of those who, along with his wife Machi, supported Axion Hellas in its work.

The Board of Directors of Axion Hellas extends its sincere condolences to the family of Evangelos Spanos and announces its decision to make an immediate donation of €5,000 to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the SOTIRIA General Hospital for Thoracic Diseases in Athens, in memory of Evangelos Spanos. This contribution supports the daily efforts of the medical and nursing staff in the fight against COVID-19.
