World Hearing Day

Today is the World Hearing Day, designated by the World Health Organization and aiming to raise awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care across the world.

Early and reliable diagnosis ensures that people with hearing loss enjoy a better hearing and improved quality of life. We were very pleased to collaborate with Galiotos Earcare, who offered to children and adults facing hearing impairment issues in Meganisi, Kalamos and Kastos hearing checks, and where needed free of charge hearing aids. Also for residents who were already using a hearing aid, a technical check for proper operation or a brand new hearing aid were provided.
