Meeting of Axion Hellas with His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew at the Ecumenical Patriarchate

Shared values, a common vision. Love for the remote regions of Greece, care for our fellow human beings, a deep commitment to education, and respect for the environment are just a few of the values that unite Axion Hellas with the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

Members of the Board of Directors, Special Advisors, and Team Leaders of Axion Hellas had the distinct honor of meeting with His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Istanbul.

This deeply moving encounter highlighted the spiritual and moral ties that bind us and culminated in the Patriarch's blessing of our mission.

The Axion Hellas delegation also visited the silent Theological School of Halki, toured its premises and its historic library housing 140,000 book titles—paying tribute to the profound connection between faith and knowledge.

As a symbolic gift to His All-Holiness, we offered a photographic collection featuring traditional Aegean fishing boats, artistically captured by Petros Sofikitis—a heartfelt gesture, rich in tradition, sea, and light.

With great emotion, we also received a donation from the Ecumenical Patriarchate to Axion Hellas, as a gesture of recognition and support for our work.

A visit that will remain etched in our memory and our hearts.
