Emergency initiative in Kimolos: Stray cat vaccination & sterilisation

We are pleased to respond to the request from the Municipality of Kimolos to assist in the management of the stray cat population on the island. In collaboration with the veterinary team from the animal welfare organization SPAZ and the Municipality of Kimolos, Axion Hellas has organized a critical emergency initiative aimed at neutering and vaccinating 70 stray cats on Kimolos. This initiative commenced on October 18th and will conclude on Sunday, October 20th.

Our primary objective is to carry out the neutering and vaccination of stray cats in order to protect them from disease and safeguard public health on the island. We extend our sincere appreciation to the local authorities and our volunteer veterinarians, whose invaluable contributions have made this initiative possible. Their efforts will yield an immediate and positive impact on the welfare of the animals and the well-being of the local community.
