Participation of Axion Hellas in the 9th Panhellenic Forum: Women in Oncology

We were honored to participate in the 9th Panhellenic Forum: Women in Oncology. This conference focuses on cancer in women, the gender differences in the disease, and the support for female professionals in oncology.

At the forum, Axion Hellas President, Ms. Alice Drakouli, spoke about our work and our volunteers, emphasizing our commitment to solidarity. As she eloquently stated: "In these beautiful places where hospitable and honorable people live, the challenges of subsistence are enormous. Yet, they do not give up. They help their communities, raise their families there, and strive to revive lost traditions. They are commendable simply for their perseverance. We stand by them!".

Additionally, the conference featured insightful talks from Health Minister Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports, Mr. Odysseas Zoras, the President of the Greek Society of Oncologists, Ms. Zenia Saridaki, and other esteemed medical professionals.
